Warner Home Video has lifted the 28-day street date embargo for libraries effective with the studio’s Oct. 30 releases. All Warner Brothers titles will now be released to libraries on the same date as the retail version. Titles will continue to be designated as Rental versions.
The first title to be affected by the change will be The Campaign (10012173 DVD/10012157 Blu-ray). Originally scheduled for a November 27, 2012 release date, the new street date is now October 30, 2012. Note: customers may notice the November street date on their invoice—that date is no longer valid.
Other titles affected under the new policy will include The Dark Knight Rises (10012252 DVD) new street date 12/4/12, The Apparition (10014745 DVD) new street date 11/27/2012, and Trouble with the Curve (Product ID N/A).
