Hot This Week: October 10

Three new titles make this week's list, led by the shark thriller The Shallows at #1. The new disc from Shawn Mendes tops the music chart, and the Boss puts his new hits complication on there as well. James Patterson and Maxine Paetro's latest collaboration takes over the fiction list, while a book on joy from the Dalai Lama and Archbishop Desmond Tutu is the only newcomer in non-fiction.
